Triphala is a 1:1:1 blend of Amla, Haritaki, and Bibhitaki. It's the archetypal anupana — ingested on its own or as a carrier for other herbs — and shows a mild, consistent effect on gut regularity.
Traditional use
Nightly dose in warm water — 'every household should have triphala'.
